He was born in 1965 in Ardahan. After going to primary school in Ardahan, he completed his secondary and high school education in Istanbul. He graduated from Sarıyer Vehbi Koç Foundation High School in 1982 and from Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Finance, in 1986.

Between 1987-1995 he worked as the Income Controller of the Ministry of Finance. Between 1995-1998, he worked as a tax consultant in important groups in Turkey.

He continues his activities in the Akdeniz Auditing Certified Public Accountant Ltd., which he founded in 1998 as a Chartered Accountant in Bursa. He has an unpublished thesis on Turkish Tax Judgment and has articles and books on tax and economy published in various journals and newspapers.
